To ensure the future growth and constant improvement of the Cayman Islands volleyball National Team, the Junior Elite programme will serve as a “pipeline” of talented players who have the potential to graduate into the Cayman Islands national indoor and beach volleyball teams.
Members of the CIVF technical team will constantly be on the lookout for young players who show the potential to become elite national players, however, some CIVF sanctioned events during the year will be identified as “scouting events”. If selected, players will receive a formal invitation to join the Junior Elite programme.
The Junior Elite programme will be run by the CIVF Technical Director and will provide athletes in the programme with the same resources, and instruction from the same coaches, as those provided to the volleyball national teams.
