The Cayman Islands Volleyball Federation (CIVF), the supreme authority in volleyball in the Cayman Islands, was founded in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Indies, as a non-profit organization and initially registered with the Federation de International de Volleyball (FIVB) in 1976. In 2020 the CIVF was designated by the Cayman Islands Government as a Focus Sport.
The CIVF is committed to the longevity of indoor and beach volleyball in the Cayman Islands, through: the development and fielding of increasingly competitive National teams; and supporting the local community and its youth through athletic and educational development programmes.
The CIVF is the sole entity competent to administer and govern volleyball and beach volleyball in the Cayman Islands for male and female players. The CIVF has received recognition from the Cayman Islands Government, Cayman Islands Olympic Committee, CAZOVA, NORCECA and the Federation de Internationale de Volleyball. In 2020 Volleyball was added to the Cayman Islands Government's list of Focus Sports.
