Kennedy McGowanKennedy McGowan was instrumental in revitalizing the sport of volleyball in 1990 and served in numerous positions on the CIVF Board until 2000 when he retired as President. He returned in 2009 to assist with organizing the first NORCECA beach volleyball tournament to be held in the Cayman Islands. The following year he was asked to rejoin the CIVF Board, elected Vice President and served in that role for four years. In 2014 he was again elected President of CIVF and officially installed by NORCECA President, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz. Kennedy has a passion for making volleyball a focus sport in Cayman. He strives for excellence and his commitment and dedication to the sport will no doubt enable him to achieve his goal to continue to develop and promote volleyball from the grassroots to elite level. He endeavors to implement the FIVB sport development plan through collaboration with the various Government Ministries, Cayman Islands Olympic Committee, regional governing bodies CAZOVA and NORCECA, Sponsors and the CIVF to ensure their goals and objectives are achieved. Kennedy lives with his family in the district of Bodden Town, Grand Cayman and is the proud Papa of a young future volleyball player. He might also be seen occasionally playing in the Sunday Beach Volleyball League or refereeing a church league game. president@civf.kyPresident

Kevin SolomonKevin has been involved in the volleyball scene in the Cayman Islands for over 25 years. He was a member of the CI National Volleyball Team (indoor) and first represented the Cayman Islands at the Island Games in Gotland, Sweden in 1999 as well as the Caribbean Championships in Barbados that same year. Kevin went on to represent the Cayman Islands in numerous indoor volleyball events with his final event being the 2011 Island Games hosted by the Isle of Wight. Kevin serves as an independent non-executive director on a wide range of alternative investment funds, including fund of funds, hedge funds, private equity funds and segregated portfolio companies. Kevin graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, an Associate of the UK Securities Institute and he has completed both the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Course. Kevin has also received the Accredited Director designation from Chartered Secretaries Canada and is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association.treasurer@civf.kyTreasurer
